Running Away...(it's a poem clauren!) on 2003-03-24 @ 8:43 p.m.

Here I am. Little ol' me deciding to enter a poetry contest. I thought I might share my poem with all of you :)-there will be some little changes but this is pretty close to how it's going to be sent in. Please tell me what you think-and thanks to everyone who gave me (postive)feedback on my 'before I die...." entry. If you didn't see it you can click 'fat' down there to read.

Run Away

Running torward the sunset

and away from all the pain

I can feel the wind tear off me

but I hope the painful feeling of

hatred and dispair rip off of me too

Someone may ask me why I did what I did

I might answer, "You try being me,it not a walk in the park".

I ran away today

from the noise and the pain

I never want to stop running

but I have no choice when everythings torn off-including hope

Naked on the road to nowhere

I have no other choice,

then to run back home

I came up with something like that when I was running one day,so I decided to put all the thoughts together into a poem that I could send in. What do you think? Should I change the wording of anything(that was probably the hardest part in writing it)? But keep in mind alot of it is metophores(sp),like "naked on the road". I'm not really naked....but you get it. don't you? Well,I'll be seeing you soon.

Diary of the day: saiyanstar-I've heard she hasn't been doing so great and since I haven't had time to read everyone's diary-I'm clueless. But I will soon go. Thanks again to everyone who has contacted me!!
